Yuksek is a French DJ, electronic musician, and producer known for his love of synthesizers and his ability to blend a wide range of influences into a unique sound, always centered around one key idea: DANCE.
At the dawn of the 2000s, Yuksek released a series of EPs on both French and international labels, leading to the release of two albums: Away from the Sea (2009) and Living on the Edge of Time (2011). These records established his signature style—a fusion of disco and indie influences with modern, darker electronic production. Drawing inspiration from the New York scene led by James Murphy, the legacy of French electronic music, 1970s Anglo-Saxon sounds, and global influences from his travels, Yuksek has crafted a distinctive musical identity.
In 2013, he founded his own label, Partyfine, where he has signed and released music from various French and international artists, as well as curated artist compilations and edit collections. A true studio enthusiast, Yuksek has collaborated with and remixed a diverse range of artists, including Gorillaz, Phoenix, U-God, Lana Del Rey, JD Samson, Purple Disco Machine, Breakbot, L’Impératrice, and Clara Luciani.
Beyond the club scene, Yuksek has also composed for film, documentaries, and stage productions. His original score for Marguerite and Julien, directed by Valérie Donzelli, was featured in competition at the Cannes Film Festival. In February 2017, he released his third album, Nous Horizon, followed by three EPs leading to a collaborative album in 2019.
Yuksek continues to perform worldwide in clubs and festivals, delivering dynamic sets that span disco, house, and ethno-techno, showcasing his ever-evolving sound and deep passion for dance music.
